Mommy Blues!

Every Wed. it just so happens that none of the daycare kids come until about 8:00 am. So we take this opportunity to do a mid-week clean of the upstairs. We (Maycie, Gagie, and I) were in Maycie's room and our normal routine is Maycie puts her cloths away, and I do the organizing of Barbie's and trinkets. But this time we decided to switch. I picked up a shirt, looked at it, and realized how small it seamed. I thought for sure that it was my laundry mistake. But then I looked at her and realized it wasn't her shirt that was small, it was her that was big. I instantly became very overwhelmed with the "Mommy blues". As we all know our kids grow up very fast, it is just sometimes feels like it happens way too fast!! So I am taking a trip on memory lane to see my baby girl!!

This one is small but so was she......Kevin's wedding she was less than two weeks old.
Maycie at nine months old! Always posing!!

One year old! She has always loved looking at pictures. She gets so excited when she sees someone she knows, and really excited when she sees herself!!

"hello.. Yes this is maycie.... oh no your mistaken I am not 19 months I am 19!!"

Two days after she turned two. She got to go to DISNEY LAND!!Three days before she turned three she got a baby brother. and so she wouldn't feel left out she got the best birthday she will EVER have!!

At three and a half she went thought a "CRACK" phase!!

She has always been a water baby!! I think she might be part fish!!

And she still loves to POSE!
Now she is four going on 20! She is in preschool and loves her new found freedom!

She sure is growing up into a beautiful, Kindhearted, SMART, perfect little girl. But.....

To me, she will always be my "Baby Girl"!! I love you Maycielyn!

MISSING CAMERA!!

I have a mystery that I cannot solve! My digital camera has somehow vanished into thin air! I used it about a month ago to take a picture of Gaige, turned around and put it on the table, and somehow it is gone. I have searched my house from top to bottom. I wouldn't even let Trevor take the garbage out for three weeks because I was sure that somehow it was thrown away with the many little hands that are running around on a daily basis. But unfortunatly, after searching though dirty, NASTY, OLD, GROSS, STINKY... (I could go on but I will spare you) I let the garbage get thown away! So The reason for the post. FIRST: If anyone has any brilliant ideas on where children like to hide things that I maybe missed, then please comment.
SECOND: I Promised My sister, after reading one of her wonderful blogs that put me in tears, that I would be a better blogger. So although they may not be the most exciting to look at. They will let you know what our little family here is Idaho is up to! I hope you all enjoy. You dont realize how much you appriciate something (Digital camers) until they are gone. Film takes a long time to not only get developed but to fill the film!! Pictures will come!! We miss and Love you all very much!!!

BUTTERFLIES GALORE

"BUTTERFLY KISSES"

One of the most unique things that we got to experience on our camping adventure was the Butterflies. If you have ever see a butterfly ball you will know what I am talking about. A few yards from where our tens were set up right on the water was a moving ball. Once the "hunters" got a little closer they realized they were BUTTERFLIES, all fluttering in a ball, with one swift swoop of the net they had dozens. We put the beautiful flying insects inside one of the tents and had an experience I will never forget. They were flying all over us landing where ever they could, including our eyes, ears, mouth and nose!! Although I personally didn't get to see the magical ball, I did get to enjoy the pitter patter, and flutter flatter, of little legs on my face. And for those of you who were worried, No butterflies, well not many, were harmed, we let them go!!
Luke, Logan, and Gaige couldn't get enought of the little critters!!

Maycie was a little to nervous
to go into the tent, but we
finally found one that she
would hold!!

THE REDNECK YACHT CLUB

As soon as the first hot day hits in the summer, we start itchin' for the summer fun!! As most of you all know, we love to go camping, and we love to go boating, but most of all we love Boat Camping!! It is the best of both worlds!! We got the chance to go to a place that we had never been before, and it was the best weekend of camping in a really long time! Trevor and I packed up the Truck, hooked onto the boat and headed up to Anderson Ranch with Gram, Pop-pop, Nini, Luke, and Logan! The Thur before the 4th of July. Sense non of us had ever been there we didn't know what to expect. After getting through a few set backs with getting there (car trouble) we finally pull in after midnight, got what we could of camp set up, and headed to bed. The anxiety hit that morning when I heard the first sound of camping! The tent ZIPPER!! As we got ready to go outside, I was a little weary since we didn't really know what our campsite looked like. I was hoping it was half as nice and we thought it was in the dark. But much to our surprise it was WAY BETTER!! Sheryl (Gram), Niki (Nini), and I decided that if you took all the other places that we had ever boated and camped, combined all of our favorite things about each of them, you would get this amazing spot we had. It had Beautiful shade trees, Plenty of room for the kids, a private sandy beach, and our own dock for the boat!! We couldn't have asked for anything more!! We had such a memorable time! I know every time we look at pictures from that weekend, feeling of pure happiness will fill our hearts!

Live and Learn

I am so excited to show all of my family and friends just what our humble family is up to. It may not be as glamorus as a Super Stars life, but it is perfect for us! We are living in the outskirts of Meridan and love the feeling of being "out of town". Someday, sooner than later, we hope to get out far enough to get a small amount of land! We love to be outdoors, fishing, camping, hunting, and most of all BOATING!! Water Babies is quiet and understatement when it come to our 4 year old Maycielyn and our 1 year old Gaige (Chonko). I am so glad that I know have a chance to share our lives with all of you far away! Thanks to Nicole, Kaylynn, and Gwen for setting the example!!
